Omicron (<\/strong>\u039f<\/strong>, <\/strong>\u03bf<\/strong>)<\/strong> means exactly what its name says:
\u1f40<\/strong> \u03bc\u03b9\u03ba\u03c1\u03cc\u03bd<\/strong> \u2014\u03bf the small one<\/em>.<\/p>

Not \u201csmall\u201d as insignificant, but measured<\/strong>.
Omicron is the letter of limit<\/strong>, boundary<\/strong>, measure<\/strong>.<\/p>

Sound and Shape<\/strong><\/p>

  • Sound value:<\/strong> short \/o\/<\/li>
  • Shape:<\/strong> a perfect circle<\/li><\/ul>

    A beginning that is also an end.
    A form that encloses.<\/p>

    Greek never chose shapes randomly.
