We are living parts\r\n            of the world, attempting to understand it from within.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <hr class=\"qn-separator\">\r\n\r\n        <p class=\"qn-section-title\">\r\n            <i class=\"fas fa-atom\"><\/i>\r\n            What Does \u201cParticipation\u201d Mean in Quantum Physics?\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n            In Quantum Physics, for a system to be measured,\r\n            it must interact with something else: a detector,\r\n            a photon, an electric or magnetic field or a\r\n            measuring device.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n            This interaction may alter the state of the system\r\n            and produce a recorded result.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p class=\"qn-point\">\r\n            <i class=\"fas fa-eye\"><\/i>\r\n            Here, the term \u201cobserver\u201d does not necessarily mean\r\n            a human being who is watching.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n            It refers primarily to a physical system or a device\r\n            that interacts with the object and records information.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p class=\"qn-highlight\">\r\n            <i class=\"fas fa-database\"><\/i>\r\n            An experiment can be completed and its result stored\r\n            even when no human being is present in the laboratory\r\n            at that moment.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <hr class=\"qn-separator\">\r\n\r\n        <p class=\"qn-section-title\">\r\n            <i class=\"fas fa-ban\"><\/i>\r\n            Consciousness Does Not Command Particles\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n            Quantum Physics has not demonstrated that human thought\r\n            selects the outcome of a measurement or that our wishes\r\n            directly shape external reality.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p class=\"qn-highlight\">\r\n            <i class=\"fas fa-exclamation-circle\"><\/i>\r\n            Measurement is a physical interaction \u2014 not a magical\r\n            power of the gaze.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n            This does not make the human being insignificant.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n            On the contrary, it places us where we truly belong:\r\n            within nature, with bodies, senses, instruments,\r\n            questions and the ability to transform a trace\r\n            into knowledge.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <hr class=\"qn-separator\">\r\n\r\n        <p class=\"qn-section-title\">\r\n            <i class=\"fas fa-brain\"><\/i>\r\n            Human Experience as Participation\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n            The body continuously receives influences from its\r\n            environment and responds to them.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n            Breathing, sensation, emotion and memory combine\r\n            to form the experience of our presence within the world.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n            Science can investigate the physiological mechanisms\r\n            involved in this experience.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p class=\"qn-point\">\r\n            <i class=\"fas fa-feather-alt\"><\/i>\r\n            It cannot, however, exhaust the personal meaning that\r\n            the experience may hold for each individual.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <hr class=\"qn-separator\">\r\n\r\n        <p class=\"qn-section-title\">\r\n            <i class=\"fas fa-landmark\"><\/i>\r\n            The Poetic Bridge\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n            The ancients did not always regard nature as an object\r\n            standing opposite them.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n            The human being inhabited the Cosmos and participated\r\n            in its rhythm.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p class=\"qn-point\">\r\n            <i class=\"fas fa-balance-scale\"><\/i>\r\n            This is a philosophical affinity, not evidence that\r\n            they understood Quantum Physics.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n            It does, however, remind us of something essential:\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p class=\"qn-highlight\">\r\n            <i class=\"fas fa-hand-holding-heart\"><\/i>\r\n            We do not touch the world without being touched by it.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p class=\"qn-highlight\">\r\n            <i class=\"fas fa-lightbulb\"><\/i>\r\n            All knowledge begins with an encounter.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n            Before the world becomes a concept, a measurement\r\n            or an equation, it has already left a trace upon us.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <hr class=\"qn-separator\">\r\n\r\n        <p within the natural environment\r\n                represents the experience of participation,\r\n                receptiveness and connection with nature.\r\n            <\/em>\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n            <em>\r\n                The luminous currents and butterflies are poetic\r\n                symbols of inner transformation; they do not depict\r\n                a literal transfer of quantum energy into\r\n                the human body.\r\n            <\/em>\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <hr class=\"qn-separator\">\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n            <small>\r\n                <strong>Scientific references:<\/strong>\r\n                In Quantum Physics, measurement is described as\r\n                a physical interaction between the system under\r\n                investigation and the measuring device.
