Ω — Omega (in English)
Omega (Ω, ω) is not simply the last letter of the Greek alphabet.
It is the gesture of completion without closure.
Unlike a closed circle, Ω is open at the base.
It does not seal meaning — it releases it.
In ancient Greek thought, Omega signifies:
- Fulfillment, not termination
- Wholeness, not finality
- Return, not disappearance
This is why in the phrase
“I am the Alpha and the Omega”
the meaning is not beginning and end in a linear sense,
but source and completion held together.
Omega gathers everything that came before —
and lets it breathe.
In sound, Ω was long, sustained, resonant.
Not a sharp vowel, but a held vibration —
a tone you remain inside.
If Alpha is the spark,
Omega is the field where the spark becomes meaning.
Omega does not say “it is over.”
It says:
“It has become.”
